Nice storyboards! Your characters are cute and I like the sweet story. One thing I might fix is your cut to the girl crying under the tree, I understand what you are trying to do but when I was skimming through I had to reread it to understand. Also I am assuming the kite broke, but I had a hard time understanding that from your drawings. But overall they're very nice.
This is a very nice story that you have, Khen! Despite its simplicity, it still has a lot of heart. My only complaint is that the staging for the cut from one side of the fence to the other is hard to read. It might work better if the camera moved around the fence instead of cut, which would make it read better. Other than that, good job so far!
