Story Revised

  • ·         Story stats with a row of empty cans,
  • ·         One by one, they started flying, as Jed shoots them with his slingshot.
  • ·         After he hit the last can, He confidently spins his slingshot, imitating a cowboy, who spins his revolver before holstering it back.
  • ·         Not good enough with spinning the slingshot, Jed hits himself on the head with it.
  • ·         As Jed is scratching the bump on his head, he starts hearing crying on a nearby tree.
  • ·         Following the sound the crying and sniffling, he notices a girl near the tree.
  • ·         The girl looks at Jed with teary eyes then looks to the top of the tree.
  • ·         Jed looks at where the little girl is looking and saw a kite! The strong winds must have pushed the kite towards the tree!
  • ·         Jed pats the girl on the head to comfort her then proceeds to aim for the kite with his slingshot, hoping to dislodge the stuck kite.
  • ·         As Jed loosens his fingers to hit the kite, a strong gust of wind blew, making the projectile lose speed and ultimately miss the kite.
  • ·         Jed looks surprised, not expecting the strong wind. He looks to the girl to see her face get even sadder.
  • ·         Jed, not wanting to see the girl cry anymore, charges the tree full force! He started climbing the tree.
  • ·         Jed makes good progress and is getting closer and closer to the kite.
  • ·         As Jed reaches his hands out to grab the kite, the branch his holding on to snaps, and he falls straight down.
  • ·         Not knowing what to do, all the girl did was scream and closer eyes with her hands.
  • ·         The girl, still closing her eyes, hears no impact. She then opens her eyes to see that Jed was able to grab on a branch using his slingshot! Yay!
  • ·         Both Jed and the girl sighs in relief. Unfortunately, this new branch wasn’t able to hold Jed’s weight either, and it breaks and He fell down. This time, he is much closer to the ground.
  • ·         While Jed is still sitting down, he feels something underneath it, as he looks and checks; he realizes that it’s the kite, broken in the middle where the sticks meet.
  • ·         The girl sees the broken kite, and got sad and starts crying.
  • ·         Looking at the girl then looking at the broken kite, Jed knew that it’s his fault. He looked at his slingshot in his hand.
  • ·         Jed looks back to the slingshot, then back to the kite, Jed’s face suddenly glow, realizing there’s something he can do.
  • ·         He quickly turned around from the girl and starts doing something with the kite and the slingshot
  • ·         The girl starts noticing that Jed is doing something with her kite. Jed then turns quickly towards the girl and shows her the kite, fixed using the slingshot
